About this Application

Blood Pressure and Glucose is a mobile application developed to help users record and track blood pressure, blood glucose and weight measurements, and to set reminders. The app is intended for personal use and does not require an account or registration.

All health records entered by the user are stored exclusively on the user's own device, with no transmission to the developer's external servers. There is no cloud sync.

The app does not measure or diagnose anything — readings are entered manually by the user from their own devices.

Personal Data Collected

The app itself does not collect or transmit personal data to the developer. However, it uses third-party services that may automatically collect data, as described below.

Data stored locally on the device

  • Blood pressure, blood glucose and weight measurements

  • User-created profiles (name and, optionally, height and weight goal)

  • Configured reminders and schedules

  • App preferences (units, language, theme)

  • Lock PIN, if enabled (kept in the operating system's secure storage)

This data stays on the device and can be removed at any time via Settings → Delete all data, or by uninstalling the app.

Data collected by third-party services

The app integrates Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may automatically collect:

  • Device advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID)

  • Ad usage and interaction data

  • Device information (model, operating system, language)

  • Approximate IP address

Purposes of Processing

  • Advertising: displaying ads through Google AdMob to fund free development of the app.

  • App functionality: local storage of health records so the app works correctly.

  • Premium subscription: validating access to paid features.

Advertising – Google AdMob

AdMob is an advertising service provided by Google LLC. Ads shown may be personalized based on device usage history and the user's advertising preferences.

Before showing any ad, we request the user's consent via Google's consent platform (UMP), as required in the EU/EEA, UK and certain US states. We do not use health data for ad targeting.

Users may opt out of personalized ads in device settings:

  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

Premium Subscription – Google Play and RevenueCat

If the user subscribes to Premium, payment is processed by Google Play, and subscription entitlement is managed with RevenueCat, which receives only a pseudonymous purchase identifier to validate access. RevenueCat does not receive health data.

App Permissions

  • Notifications: to deliver the reminders configured by the user.

  • Internet: to load ads and validate the subscription.

The app does not use camera, microphone, location or contacts.

User Rights (GDPR / LGPD)

Under applicable data protection law, the user has the right to:

  • Confirm whether personal data is being processed

  • Access their personal data

  • Request correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data

  • Request deletion of unnecessary or excessive data

  • Withdraw consent at any time

  • Object to processing in case of non-compliance

Because app data resides only on the device, the user can view, edit, export (Premium feature) and delete everything within the app or by uninstalling it. For data collected by AdMob, contact us or Google directly.

Data Security

Data stored locally on the device is protected by the Android operating system's own security mechanisms. The developer does not store user data on its own servers and is therefore not subject to external server data breaches.

The user may enable an optional PIN to lock the app. We also recommend protecting the device with a password or biometrics.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to this Policy

The Owner reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Significant changes will be announced through an app update or a notice on the store listing. We recommend checking this page periodically.
